Aonix Extends Quality Management Road Map

ISO 9001 Certification another step in continuous improvement process

Nuremberg, Germany, February 22, 2005

Aonix®, a provider of complete safety- and mission-critical solutions, announced the ISO 9001 certification of its European headquarters in France. The certification signifies that all of Aonix’s business practices related to the definition, implementation, productization and sales of software products have been audited and implement high-quality work processes required under the ISO 9001 standard. Meeting this standard enables Aonix to sell to major accounts in the mission- and safety-critical domain that now require ISO 9001 certification.

Achieving ISO 9001 certification is just one step in Aonix’s overall goal of achieving continuous process improvement. Aonix management are committed to demonstrating measurable quality achievements at every level of the organization to ensure customer satisfaction and the availability of resources needed to meet such aims. Aonix suppliers will be evaluated and selected by clearly defined criteria. Ongoing customer evaluations help identify any problems, to ensure efficiency of process and verify conformity of products and services.

“As a provider of safety- and mission-critical software, Aonix has consistently implemented sound business practices and adherence to standards,” said Nicolas Hadjidakis, CEO of Aonix. “Becoming ISO 9001 certified simply provides additional assurance to vendors that our overall quality program will be audited according to specific metrics that we have in place. We embrace the additional accountability as a way internally of measuring our ability to deliver high-quality software solutions to the mission- and safety-critical space.”

As part of its overall quality program, Aonix has planned regular assessment, measurement and improvement of its processes. These quality initiatives will be rolled out to all its international offices.

“In the mission- and safety-critical space, customer and regulatory requirements take on even more importance,” noted Jacques Brygier, Vice President of Marketing at Aonix. “ISO 9001 is just one step in our overall commitment to quantifiable results. We want to do all that we can to ensure that we efficiently deliver high-quality products that meet our customers’ needs.”
