Aonix Patch Acquisition Policy

Patches for ObjectAda products are password protected, and can be downloaded via a web browser (HTTP) or via FTP.

The current password can be obtained from the support office in your country. Customers who are under a current maintenance contract and can provide a valid customer number will be issued the current password at no charge. Customers who are not covered by a current maintenance/support contract will be charged a nominal fee for the password.

In case of Difficulty

If you have difficulty obtaining a patch due to browser problems (for example, the browser not returning a password dialog box), you can access the patches via standard FTP access.  Again, you will need the password to do this.

Logon to ftp.aonix.com with the account name ada-patches. Use the password you were given. All patches are stored in the outgoing directory by product and then by version. If you need help locating the patch check with your local support office.

Note that you cannot obtain patches using a standard anonymous FTP logon process.
